I understand your logic of trying to keep out forein matter,
but like others posted above, water needs to drain otherwise
you will prematurely cause rust. Leave the holes open for drainage unless you weld every single opening in the frame
so it is watertight.

How many holes are there in the frame underneath? Is it possible that some should be sealed that are directly underneath, leaving others open for drainage? I just saw these on eBay and until now, never even thought of this as an issue, but then I don't do a lot of off road or mudding.
