Default Changing gearing

I have a 2008 unlimited automatic and I recently added a set of 35's. I also just ordered a set of 5.13 gears for it. My question is, do I need to also order a bearing kit as well? I have 100k BABIED miles on it and from here on in I will only be putting about 6000 miles per year on..

Yes, you will want to go ahead and buy a master install kit for those new gears. You have 100k miles on those old gears and bearings. That's alot of miles, and even if they are still in ok shape, why risk it.

Unless you are dealing with a very low mile vehicle, I would always do a master kit and bearings.

My question is regear myself or let someone that knows what they are doing do it? I have some mechanical experience but specialize in Auto body collision repair.

Unless you have experience, and have done it before, I highly recommend you take it to an experienced shop. Proper setup of the gears is crucial to their lifespan.
