Default Changed Seats: Seatbelt & Airbag Light Issues

I changed my seats from 2008 Rubicon Seats to aftermarket seats.
Now my seatbelt light and airbag lights are on, with a constant chime for the seatbelt.
What are my options?

Is there anyway I can complete disable both lights and chime?
Is there a way I can disable both, the chime, and have my airbags still work?

As it stands now, the dealership said they can't fix any of it, and that my airbags wouldn't work right now.

I know many have aftermarket seats...
what did you do? How did you solve this?

Did you swap over the seat belt sensor from the old seats? you can turn the chime off but you need the factory seat belt connector to do it.

As for the airbag light I am not sure since they side curtain airbags were not an option in 2008 to my knowledge. Check out Project-JK write up on swapping out the seats with aftermarket ones.

thanks.

so the only way i can fix this issue is with the original seatbelt/seat harness?
i have to pull those out of the old seats, and try to wire them up with the new seats?

any other options? (i do have the old seats lying around...) but i'd like a simpler fix if possible...

I swapped seats & put in harnesses in my 2010. I removed the seatbelt sensor from the stock seats and then cut the buckle off my old seatbelt and put it all together. I zip tied it under my seat and no lights or chimes. Simple fix.

As far as your airbag light being on I'm thinking it's because your stock passenger seat had 4 weight sensors on the legs of the seat that the airbag control module uses to determine how much weight is in the seat. When it can't determine the weight it disables the passenger airbag, turns on the air bag light. Is your passenger airbag off light by the hazard switch illuminated as well?
