Default Chalk Test

Hey guys! I was just wondering if the 'Chalk Test' is the most accurate way for getting the proper tire pressure? I've read other post where people claim doing the math with gvw, max pressure...so on, so on is another route.

I'm about to find out.
I have seen many a post recommending the chalk test, but have no experience with it.

It's a nice day, so I'm off to the parking lot with the Jeep, some chalk, and a camera.

Oh, well. The chalk I have won't leave a mark on the tire. Sidewalk chalk may be too hard.
I stopped at half a dozen stores on the way home. None had the soft chalk board type.

Not a dead plan, though.
