And use rustoleum high temp paint an that will help. They also make rust converter that you can apply to rust and it chemically changes the rust to an iron hard paintable surface. Just another idea.

I have the cragar D windows and I went with some gorilla caps, I like the look plus I don't have to worry about rust!
