Default CB Radio Install help

I have 2014 JKUR and I want to install Bearcat 880 on my dash. My question is, can I cut the top portion of the dash (above the nav) to place my CB in there? I hope i explained well enough for you to help me out.

Probably not. I have had my dash off many times and I think there is to much structure. To double check, just pull it apart. It is very easy and wouldn't take any time. I was thinking about the lower panel with that silly netting. It might fit there. I finally gave up and ordered a Cobra 75 handheld.

Yea, that netting lower part is stupid. How do you like cobra 75? I was looking and reading about them.

I was looking for a cool and unique way of installing a cobra 19 in my 2 door. After thinking it over I just decided to say screw it and mount it to an old insulated cup so it would go in the cup holder between the seats. It actually turned out rather good and I can use it in my wifes car just as easy.
