I guess the only real advantage to having a handheld is that it can be put out of sight when it's not in use. I would rather not mount it above the rear view mirror or the top of dash bc I tend to run without a top most of the time and I'm not so sure how water tight these things can be if left to the elements.

IM sure there is a page dedicated to this already but here goes anyways. Has anyone mounted a small CB radio under the heater controls? To be specific it's the spot where most people remove the plastic cover to install switches for lights etc.
