I have an multi meter just do not really know how to use it. If I know where to set the dials and what to look for I can do it just need to know. So how do you check the sensors?

Now I'm relly lost...lol..number 3 is a Pipe Lock Nut and still can't find a part in Exhaust system area of the Chrysler Build sheets that has a quainty of 4 requirements. Yeah it's Platinum that's so valuable, they say worth about $1,620 an ounce....

Some more info on my cats. Used a infrared temp. gun on it today and here are my numbers. These numbers where taken at operating temp. running at 2000 rpm's and are listed as before and after in Fahrenheit . Drivers side main cat 733-636, second cat 404-393. Passenger side main cat 711-627, second cat 584-484, Numbers do not look good. Guess I really do need to get new cats Anybody have any thoughts as to these numbers.

Ya replace them looks like there clogged. If you can't afford to replace them right away. A temporary fix would be remove the upper O2 sensor and spray some sea foam in there use the green aerosol can. And revive the engine until it stops smoking. It will help for a little while but it's not a permanent fix.
