Default Carrying Skis

I am new to the Jeep scene and I am seriously looking at a new JK Rubi. One concern I have is that I am really into sking and I am wondering what my possibilities are for carrying them?

I have seen attachments for the rear bumper that holds skis vertically but dont know it they would work with a spare mounted on the rear.

Also does anyone have pictures of a lifted 2dr with a full length roof rack?

4wd sells ski racks that mount on your spare tire. I have a hitch rack..

Get the thule spare me 2 bike rack and thule 987xt. I got the two of them for 270 shipped from rack attack. Just email them a price match about how racknroad will give you free shipping and 15% off and they will beat it by $10. It is an exclelent rack I took two snowboarders and two skiers up in my two door rubi with no problem. Also the boards/skis do not really get dirty at all. very sturdy as well. I will have some pics up soon.

Default You can go all out!

I decided to go for the entire Yakima set up with custom metal runners up on the hardtop so I can do the mountain bikes and EVERYTHING else.

I got the Yakima Hitchski combo and it works great. I am gonna need a trailer for the KTM in the spring anyways so I got a 2" receiver and went with a hitchmount rack. It works great, really solid. And it will be haulin mtn bikes all summer
