Will the 3.21 carrier work with 4:10's?

 

everything I have found lists the same carrier for the open diffs on both the 3.21 and the 4.10; I have not had anyluck with any shop or source to provide a carrier, part# or availability for it either. I have my gears and am considering being brave this weekend and tear into them.

 

I'm curious as well, I'll be selling by 4:10's. i would like an answer to give to someone when they ask.

 

either of you guys selling stock 4.10's for a dana 30 front and 44 rear? If so I would love to get them ASAP!!!

if you are talking about dana carriers they will not work. The carrier's are different along with the pins that hold the side gears and pinion mates.

 

so who is selling the carriers?? no site is listing them for sale

 

if you know this for fact, please state where this info is from and who is selling the carriers. It seems that everyone wants to say they won't work, but no one is offering where to get them or part #s.

any sponsors out their want to step up and inform us?? I have the gears...but what good are they if I need a mystical carrier that no one can show/tell where/how much

I feel your pain Bill, I need new gears bad, but have no idea if all we need is just the gears or anything else. Every TJ gear set i've seen says you need an install kit. I'm scared to drop 500 bones just to find out I may need other parts that I can't find....
