off the ground, if thats the axle in question, and if its an auto, and in park you dont need your ebrake, but can put it up just in case. I always take the tires off.

if its the rear axle, chock the front tires, ebrake wont do anything.

My first time I switched out an axle it was on my 89 xj, and I did the same damn thing you did. You mess up once, learn what not to do, and next time you mess with those arms, it will be easier. Its a learning process

Roll it counter clockwise and if its too extreme of an angle, the control arms are too long or upside down. and if your having trouble rolling it take the front drive shaft out

Here's a link that may help. It tells you where you can place the floor jack to aid in getting the arms back in. Read the " SETTING YOUR CASTER" section...

everything back on but the sway bar disconnects...I'll have to have someone come sit on my bumper so I can get them in. I heard bad things about this forum and what not but I am thankful for all your guys help!

sway bar disconnects are kicking my ass. I drove up on the curb and was almost able to get one side....I tried jacking it up but it won't reach..any help?
