can't get lower control arms in
Hey guys, I put some unlimited rubi take offs on my jeep. I did the fronts first. I have the wheels and everything back on except the control arms. Right now they are extending about 2 inches forward of where they should be. I'm afraid to move my Jeep before getting help. My guess would be to reverse a little bit and turn my wheel to the right to get the left one in and vice versa. Sorry guys this is my first time under the Jeep.

You could use a floor jack to lift the axle to help you maneuver the arms in. Some have even used a ratchet strap to help as well....

On a side note... I thought all JKs had the same length control arms on the front from the factory?

thanks guys. I'm going to see what reverse will do...then jack up the frame and see if i can't then jack the front axle enough to get the sway bar end links connected then the control arms. A little freaked out on how much of an angle my drive shaft is at the transfer case..
on a happier note..the front's got 2 inches of lift(I know it will settle a little) but the rake is gone. Would it be wrong to just swap the rear shocks and leave the rear springs in?
