Tuffy figure this out! Don't make that locking arm exposed! It made me so angry.

Well, like I said before I dont have one of these so I dont know how they work, but "most" locks that style will have a nut on the inside that you can tighten.

Can someone take a pic of the inside front if this thing to see if it would be possible to install some type of "panel" in there.

Default RECALL, do I hear recall?

Sounds like TUFFY needs to do a "recall." We know they won't but at least they need to modify the design. And so do we who already have one. I will make some adjustments on mine ASAP. Sorry about your problem, but thanks, we can all learn from it.

Hmmm.... I was thinking about getting one of these, but I am not sure now. Maybe if they weld in a guard of some sort around the locking arm. This problem should be addressed since when you brake the stuff inside will slide forward all the time.

I've had mine for several months now, keep it full of stuff, often times have multiple small items in there too with "bigger" items.

Not once have I had anything block the lock mechanism. Maybe it's becasue when I put things in there I'm careful to arrange them in a manner to where it's unlikely that they'll move in that direction. Get some of the "sticky" rubber stuff to put in the bottom to keep stuff from sliding around and that will help too.

This is one of the funniest threads I have read in a while. I am actually laughing out loud in my office as I read through this. Every post on this thread involves either hitting the box, beating it, jarring it or some other type of violent physical act! I love it.

I was thinking the exact same thing. You guys should have seen me yesterday. I found this empty straight away behind a grocery store and I was going about 50 in reverse and slamming on my breaks. The gardner dudes thought I was crazy.
