The torque values aren't crazy on those UCA's. I'm looking at mine now and don't see why a regular ratchet wouldn't work there. The sway bar link is slightly in the way but nothing impossible.

you did a lot of unnecessary work for a 2in lift. The whole install should have only taken 4-5hr by yourself. I've done many lifts for our club members in my garage and have never had to loosen control arms for a lift under 2.5in. But since you did be sure to torque everything down and double check every bolt you touched then go back and re-torque after 100 miles or so.

Yep, it's that sway bar link getting in the way. I don't currently have a 21mm ratchet wrench, and a 21 mm socket won't fit in there. There's always one tool I'm missing.

That sounds like my best plan.

The ole 4-5 hour install mystery. I'm going on 4 days sun up til sun down. I tend to take my time.

A 21mm long reach closed end wrench with a cheater pipe was able to get those rear UCA axle mount bolts. Just had to work around some brake hose interference, got it done 1/4 turn at a time. Now to tighten up the front.

It may be a good call on the loosening all the control arms. I did a quick rough measurement check and I'm seeing 3.5in gain in the front with my measly 2in Mopar lift with my stock front bumper. I was anticipating about 3in, so should be about perfect once I install my front AEV bumper, 12K winch, and AEV front skid plate.

You did loosen, hop/ jostle/ bounce the suspension, then tighten before checking on that extra 1.5"....right? That would be quite the lift though.

With them loosened, I bounced up and down on the front and rear bumpers, put it in neutral, then drive and pulled up an inch, back into neutral, then park and bounced up and down on the front and rear bumpers again.

My toe is definitely messed up with this tie rod.

The chrome badging is a joke but the tie rod.....very easy, very thick, and serves a purpose. RuffStuff 'may' still be running their 20% off, I'll go look for the code.
