Just wanting to confirm you can run 33s on a rubicon with no lift. Plus not have any rubbing issues. If anyone has done this do you have any pictures? Thanks

You can run 33 on any JK (Rubi or not) with no rubbing from turn to turn (with aftermarket wheels, 4-5 backspacing). It'll rub on full flex. If you have stock wheels, you need to get wheel spacer.

I run 255/85R16 (33.3x10.3) on stock 16" wheels, no spacers, with no rubbing at full turn or full flex.

I run 285/70-17 on ruby rims with Teraflex spacers and a small 3/4 skyjacker front just to get rid of rake and I have no rubbing issues once I got rid of that damn dam lol. I worked it out pretty hard at Springcreek offroad and no rubbing the whole time.

Im sure you guys are getting sick of this picture lol I post it everywhere theres a tread about 33's.

I would like to keep the stock 17 inch rims that come on the jeep. If I run 285/70/17s, do I have to use spacers, if so, what is the minimum extension needed. I don't want the edge of the tire to extend past the fender flares for legal reasons. Ideally I'd like to have them still under the fender if possible.

They are Teraflex spacers I think they are 1.25''. I have not ran the tires without them but I really wouldent want to. I think the Jeep has a more Jeep stance to it now. Plus im sure it would rub the sway bar. Heres some pictures to show how far they stick out. They are just about dead even with the fenders now. I love it!

Im pretty sure as long as you dont have tires that stick out half a foot from the fenders the cops will leave you alone.

What size spacers are available from Spidertrax?
1.5" seems too much, but do they offer anything smaller?

Spidertrax have 1.5"
TeraFlex have 1" which are actually 1.25"

They are both very high quality products. I have the Spidertrax version. You may be able to find some true 1" adapters out there on the internet but I don't think I would want to go off road with them on my Jeep.

Does anyone have any pictures running 33s with no lift? So I wouldn't have to worry about any rubbing issues running spacers unless I'm maxed out?

I'm running M/T Baja MTZ 33x12.5x17 w/ out a lift. No rubbing on the road even at full turn. I do expect some rubbing at full flex.[IMG][/IMG]
