Maybe a dumb question to some
But it's my first jeep. I like the look of the painted fenders but most of the after market flat fenders are pretty pricey then there's the cost of paint. Just wanting to know if u can cut/trim the factory painted fenders without messing up the paint.

I would tape, (blue painter's), and scribe the cut line on the tape. Then buy plastic flexible edging from an auto store for the finish.

Yes you can. It's not going to ruin the paint.

Sure can! I am happy how it turned out. I used a jigsaw. Make sure you use blue painters tape and have a new blade handy. First cut is the hardest

Just make sure to use painters tape on the entire fender. It will help keep the plate on your jigsaw from scratching the paint.

The only reason I would trim them is if your rubbing when you disco. Looks like you have a good amount of space to flex. I agree with the others looks good right now. Only reason I got flats is because I was rubbing on the front and rear. I'm one of those "If its not broke don't fix it" kinda guys. Here is Mine flexed. I think I had a inch or two left. Haven't rubbed on any trails yet.
