Default Can someone tell me what this oil leak is coming from?

There is an oil leak not the engine, not the differential. Right after the skid plate. Please let me know what its coming from to fix the leak. Thanks. Click image for larger version

Looks to me like the upper oil pan gasket. What year is your Jeep? There was a TSB for 2007-2008 with a timing cover porosity issue that presented itself like it could be the oil pan gasket here.

Yeah then my guess is a cracked upper oil pan gasket. That's some nasty looking rust. Was that in salt water or a flood or something?

Thanks bud ill give it a try. Probably going to be sandblasting the bottom this summer

I have a 2009 2 door that had/has a leak just like that. It had a little oil on the transmission protection plate. When I removed it, it still looked like it was coming from the oil pan gasket I changed the oil pan gasket this morning. I will let you know if that fixed it in a few days when I know for sure.
