if you have the 4.5 backspacing you will be fine.

I hate to jump in on the op's thread, but 285/70 17 on factory wheels does fit, right? It looks like it will be snug, but works without any spacers.

But your tire doesn't touch the factory tailgait bumpstop right?

Yes they will fit but will rub on the front sway bar at full turn. I also had one mounted on my spare tire carrier for 5 years with no problems....

I'm talking about the spare fitting.

Thank you all so much for the feedback. I keep thinking I am asking really stupid questions. but I am new to this and really have to rely on your experiance. Over the years, I have wasted ALOT of time and $$ making my own mistakes, and have been to hard headed to ask people for their advise. I appreciate your help, advise, and understanding with me (Newbie) . I am installing the lift today.

Oh yea!!! Couldn't sleep last night so I spent time reading through many other threads. One of them said that I may need to "re-gear" if I want to run 35"s on my JK.... Do I??? and what does that mean??

"re-gear" refers to changing the gear ratio to accomidate for the larger tires, which are harder to turn due to their size. You dont have to re-gear but with a 2010 JKU Sport you will notice a significant power loss because of the extra weight and size of the 35's. It can be a costly job that must be done precisely or the new gears will not last very long. If the loss of acceleration/power is ok then dont worry about re-gearing.

I have a 295 70/17 Nitto Trail Grappler on without a spacer. It is pretty snug on the rubber spacers and is touching the 3rd taillight but seems to work fine. I will probably add a spacer in the future but it is snug right now.

I can snap some pics later if you like.
