Definitely looking into this. I think my motor Is going. It only turns on when it wants to now.

This is good to know there is a cheaper alternative... My blower sounds like a biplane flying and has sounded that way for the past few years.

Found out my blower motor is fine.
I bought a used climate control switch from a junk yard. Perfect now

Here's my I put and simple fix. My blower motor started to put out a high pitched whine the other day. I removed the motor and fan assembly and cleaned all the dust off. I then removed the small screw on the back of the motor and sprayed some electronics cleaner/lube in it and plugged it back in.
