A/C Heater Blower Motor
Thought this would be helpful to anyone looking to save time and money.
If you are in the market for a new blower motor, you've allready realized how expensive they can be. After searching and doing a bunch of research, I found a great deal. It turns out that the Blower Motor in the 06-10 Honda Civics is the same part # for the JK. Only difference is the price. There are a lot more results searching for the Civic Blower Motor. I found a brand new TYC replacement on ebay for $41 shipped to my door.

That's a good find, certainly no reason why our blower motor should be up on $100 when the same product without the mopar logo is $42. I've saved the part number for a later date when I get tired of the moan coming from mine.
Post up some feedback if it doesn't fit right or doesn't quite blow how it should.

The bearings are regular sealed ball bearings. The bearings in the loud fan motor were in good shape.
The noise was likely coming from the brushes on the commutator. There was a lot of powdered carbon inside the brush housing, with damage to the commutator segments.
It seems the motors don't run quietly as long as they used to. If one was into not-so-convenient preventive maintenance, the motor can be removed, opened up, and cleaned periodically, including smoothing of the commutator segments and brushes.
At $40 for the fan mentioned in this thread, it would be worth it to get the new one, then clean the old one for the next time; have it ready to go.
Here you can see the debris in the brush holder housing.
Here you can see the rough commutator segments. (And the sealed bearing.)
