Buying a used 2008, things to look for?

So still very much considering the 2008, but I am wondering what the opinions are when stacked up against a new 2012 with some kit?
2008 Rubicon 4 door, Hemi, 60K kms, 4.5 AEV, AEV bumpers, new 35 Toyos, AEV wheels, 5.13 gears, nav, no bluetooth (needs to be added), no warranty.
2012 Loaded Rubicon, 4.10 gears, AEV 3.5 or 4.5 lift, same 35 Toyos and wheels as the 2008, AEV front and rear bumpers, 2012 MyGig Nav/Bluetooth, factory warranty.
Lets say I could get the 2012 for $5000 more. Is it worth it for the new vehicle or not.....is there going to be issues if the Hemi / trans combo starts acting up to service it? Does the body need to come off again to work on the 2008?
