Default Bumpers: What do you recommend?

I've been spending a lot of time looking at front and rear bumpers to put on my '12 JK Sport. I don't want to spend too much, but I want something that's going to look good and do it's job of protecting. What would you suggest I look into?

Been thinking about that myself. I'm liking the tube style bumpers.

Shrockworks has my vote! Great looks, not too hard on the bank and built in Texas.

I love my Mopar bumpers. Not too pricey and really strong.

Agreed; if you can stomach the wait, it's well worth it IMO.

I like the JCR dagger and crusader for front/rear. The new LOD stamped bumper is very cool, as is the LOD midwidth. I have been trying to purchase bumpers that are a bit lighter, full width welded bumpers get very very heavy. But that has its place too. Mine is a DD.

I'm running PSC on the front and LOD on the rear both look really good and worth every penny. My suggestion when looking at front bumpers is decide on how you want your winch to sit i.e. down low in the bumper keeping the radiator open or flush with top of the bumper. With the rear the nice thing about the LOD bumper is that you can buy the base model and as you get the funds or decide to add brackets you can order them and bolt them up yourself. Not all rear bumpers are like that. Shrockworks make great bumpers loved my old one, plus there powder coating was top notch but they charge you as soon as you place the order and you could wait up to 6 months before you get your bumper. My buddy had Olympic bumpers front and rear and although they looked good the powder coating wasn't very good, just something to consider.
