Besides the cost difference what would you guys suggest? I love the bumper/tire carrier combo but at 200lbs I don't want my springs to sag and have to add another spacer (running 2.5 inch rc spacer lift, stock lift) will it even sag? I like how the TF hinge keeps things light. I'll be carrying a 35 nitto which is fairly heavy!

Just wait till the tire and rim cause the metal in the tailgate at the mount area to start flexing and bending sounding like a empty coke can that you bend back and forth. Putting an over sized spare on the mount will do it, just takes time. We see it in the clubs here after about 1-2 years then its toast. Best to just get the spare of the tail gate.

I'm very satisfied using TF's hinge with a seperate steel rear bumper. I too wanted to keep it light, but also allowed me to mount tools on the inside of my gate. Now I'm looking forward to when my rotopax and Tf hinge mount show up.

I have the TF hinge with stock tire carrier holding my Moab wheel and a 37" BFG km2. No evo d-rings yet but I do have the receiver hitch d-ring

Technically yes it too wide, but its been working out fine for me so far. The wider tire on the narrow wheel helps keep the bead from popping when airing down between 10-12 psi. Some people call it the "poor man's beadlock" lol. I'm saving up for some TrailReady beadlocks and I didn't want to waste my money on regular wheels that are wider than stock but non-beadlock. I plan to do it once, do it right.
