Bumper....so far....

That's similar to the idea that floating around in my head, except mine might not be quite as tall. How tall is that one? I'm gessing 7" or 8". I'm also thinking of making it from rectangular tubing, 2x6 maybe. Can't decide.
Looks good though. Can't wait to see the finished pics.

The bumper measures 6 and 1/4 incdes tall.
The problem with the tubing is weight. Plus, if you wanted the top covered back to the grill you would have to ad some plate anyways. I say go 3/16 plate.

Time too bump this thread...
I added the winch hoop and shackle mounts.
I decided it will be capable of an integrated winch between the frame.
I am pricing powdercoat, but may end up painting for now.
Lastly, the skid plate needs to be bent up and attached
Comments/critiques welcomed.
Enjoy!

My design was based off the shrockworks bumper and you noticed so i must be half-way close.
To mass produce and make efficcent alot of money would have to spent on equipment i don't have but drool over. I can kinda see why prices are so high for these items.

I like it, it's simple and functional. It's not exactly like the Shrockworks stubby, which is a good thing; especially if you decide to sell them.
If you don't mind me asking, how much $ do you have invested in the bumper so far?
