Default Bumper help...

Can't decide on a rear bumper. Anyone running any of these with some honest feedback?
-Body Armor JK-2394 & 5293 Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier Swing Arm (130lbs) $724 - $100 rebate
-Ace rear bumper and carrier (150 lbs ??) $685
-Any other recommendations in the same range?

Im running the Body Armor JK 2393 bumper and the JK 5292 carrier your inquiring about.
I like the bumper. Install was straightforward.
The only prob I have with the carrier is Iv had to replace the bearings once
already.
I just received the Hi Lift jack adaptor for it and the adaptor cant
be mounted vertically unless the right side gas can carrier
is mounted,Otherwise there is nothing to attatch the top of the jack to.
Not trying to disuade you from them, they are well made and the finish is great.
Im just stating the problem Iv had.
Hope this helps.

Had i gone with the body armor, i would have gotten the jack mount as well but mounted it horizontally on the top instead. so not so much of an issue for my case.
However, after reading about some shaking on the smittybuilt (another i was looking at), and now the body armor bearing having to be replaced, as well as all the positive feedback i've heard about ACE products and watching their video (specifically on the carrier bearing), i think its gonna be ACE. can't beat the price either.. thanks for sharing

Default Body Armor

Just bought and installed the body armor rear bumper and tire carrier; easy to install and no problems at all.

FWIW, I feel that I goofed in my previous post and didnt include
other info on it.
The adaptor kit includes both a vertical and horizontal setup.
Im thinking about trying the horizontal until I get the
can mounts.

+/- $700 .. stubby (kinda), so full corners are not necessary, carrier for up to 37'' with future add ons being possible like gas cans. high lift mount. preferably on the lighter side. rear fogs not required but admired. integrated hitch or keeping stock hitch required. and of course shackle mounts. uhhh, that's it i think.
