Default Bumper Decision - Down to 3

My factory front bumper is wrecked after a recent accident, so I'm finally looking into bumpers to house a winch and have narrowed down to three money-saving options. Which of the three should I shoot for?

I could fab a bumper and winch mount four about $250 bucks or so after powdercoating it too. It will kind of be like this one but with an integrated winch mount: http://z.about.com/d/4wheeldrive/1/7/C/S/1/Jeep_J8-4.jpg

Or I could purchase this popular shorty for $250: http://www.jeepfan.com/tech/JTConcept/Jeep-JT-Gallery3.jpg

Or I buy a new stock bumper and just mount a winch to the top of it.

Which should I shoot for..and money doesn't matter.

The first one has to many sharp edges and would be illegal this side of the pond. I kinda like the shorty, and the winch doesn't block the rad.

I can narrow it down to two for you. Don't make the same misstake D.C. did with the stock front bumper. They put it on because they had to, you have a choise.

Where can you order the 2nd one that's on the JT? I started a thread a while ago about where to find it, but got no replies.

The second one is simply an AEV winch mount.
w ww.quadratec.com/products/12049_101_07.htm

However, you wont be able to find those exact D-rings as those are not available yet. You can use some regular d-ring holders that bolt on.

This is the same setup that was used on the Skunkwerks Rubicon King Rock Crawler

BTW, the Expedition One Rubi skid plate fits with this AEV winch mount. The skid plate is excellent!
