Default Got my channel today

went out and got 2 pcs of c-channel. gonna make a front stubby and a rear bumper. I am using the 6 inch which is 1/4 inch. Should be more than strong enough. Hope to get to it this week end. I will clean up the steel (a bit rusty) and get it primed then start drilling!

Pics to follow

I built one from 6X2 C channel also. It cost me about $30 for the metal and about $14 for the duplicolor truck bed liner coating. I did all the welding myself.
Looks much better in person.

I think mine was a bit more than $30 -- I want to say closer to $50 or $60 at "Metal Supermarket" -- but it looks to be a bit heavier gauge than VBS4's.
