Thanks. Still gotta figure out a hinge for the back piece to allow me to remove the cover when needed. If I put a traditional hinge, I won't be able to remove the cover.
So far, no rattling or issues. Works as expected.

cargo deck cover
I built one a few months ago too -- and as far as I'm concerned it's the best addition to my 4 door to date. I bought bolts to secure the edges to the hard top slots then I use a hex to tighten past the point of being able to hand loosen (that way nobody can get in without the proper tools). Not bullet proof but definitely would take some time or planning to get into. I didn't do a vertical panel behind the rear seat -- so if you fold those down it's open. However, I found if you just tuck the pull straps into the seat (the ones you use to fold the seat down) they are completely hidden and likely nobody except other JK owners would know how to get the seats down when the straps are hidden. And of course the tailgate locks.
I used 3/4" OSB and painted the heck out of it with outdoor primer before wrapping the carpet around each section and stapling. It's not intended to be completely waterproof but will hold up to the occasional shower if needed. I did NOT cut out for the rear soft top window or those plastic boots that the window channel fits into -- all I have to do is remove the back two bolts to tip up the back section far enough to put the soft top up when needed.
I don't have the eye bolts but came up with a combination of other hardware to give me the ability to use a cargo net on top. Click image for larger version.
