If its less than ideal; as agreed upon, than its not perfect, by definition.

But he said he wanted our opinion on going 33s right NOW. 34s will fit with TFLKIT. "Bigger is better," according to most, right? Besides, 34s might just fit the needs.

Just trying to help save him money in the long run to get what he eventually wants, which is 35's, per his original post...

So that means lift, tires AND wheels to join a fricking club?! NOOO thank you!!
lol holier than thou eh? That half inch less really that much of a difference vs tens of thousands who run aftermarket 8inch wide wheels

Well, according to the tire manufacturers it is, but in the real world, many of us know it makes no difference.

Holier? absolutely not. I just ask questions and listen to folks who service these vehicles.

Me too. He could spend an extra $175 now on 285/75s instead of going with 255/80s, like the set up, instead of trying to sell his 33s in two years, buying 35/12.5s and have a $950 difference to make up. That's a SAVINGS of $675

But if he gets 285/75 and regrets it and goes with 35x12.5, that's not much savings . If you would happen to get 35x12.5x15's, you'd have around $80 per corner left over (vs 285/75/17) to put towards wheels

Some people don't like them, but i'm a big fan of the 15's for looks and savings. But some aftermarket components such as big brake kit and some tie rod ends don't work with them.
