Yea I could see that I guess. I think I will just to see how much it'll cost.

About 1/20 of the cost of an Atlas.

Well I personally hadn't ever thought about getting an atlas. It would be over kill for me but I had thought about doing the tcase swap.

If you don't like noise from your drivetrain work on the axle or get a rubi case. The atlas uses gears instead of a chain for drive and is a bit noisy with the front axles turning all the time. I would suggest you look into an axle that has locking hubs before running an atlas. Other then that I see no reason not to run the atlas case if you have the money to buy one. Some people think the 10.3:1 gear ratio is just not needed and I agree it is not everyday you use it but it is nice to have that super slow ratio on very hard technical climbs. It is nice to have the choices of that may gear ratios.

The 4.1 Rubi t-case works great in Moab. I rarely needed my brakes except to go down a ledge and I have 33" with 3.73 gears, auto.

$0 cost other than shipping.
Definitely worth a road trip for that deal.

They will swap them but still want $500 on top of the standard transfer case, it is not a pure trade.

Didn't know that. Still a cost effective upgrade.

Still worth it imo. I would have no problems shelling out $500 for one.
