Default Budget boost no up travel

Just finished an aev bb install on my friends rubicon, in addition to a new aev bumper and smittybilt winch. In the end we ended up with less than 1.5 inches until hitting the bumpstops on the front. We're debating adding new springs or just pulling the bumpstop extensions out. Its still raked so i assume a new set of springs might get the job done. Opinions?

Adding some new springs should bring it up level.May have to play around with bump stops to get the flex your looking for

did you leave the front factory isolator in place?

I just went out and measured my stock set up and I have just a hair over 2" between bump stop and pad. this is with 17 front springs. so with your bumper and winch that is probably correct to sag 1/2" travel. I don't believe the spacer kits make up for extra weight up front.

That's encouraging. I did a bb install in mine but it didn't have bump stop extensions. I also did new rubi takeoff springs at the same time so I didn't have a good apple to apples comparison. So now were debating if we can safely remove his bumpstop extensions or should we just throw some new 3 inch lift springs in and remove the spring spacer

I would experiment with removing the additional bump stops and see if the tire rubs when fully stuffed.

New springs would always be the best way to go.

I'm sure it's not going to rub. Still has stock tires and rims right now. More worried about over compressing spring or shock

For reference, my orange sport on the left has 2.5"rc bb, and my buddies on the right has 2"aev bb. I also Installed a fresh set of rubi takeoffs at the same time on mine. I'm about 1" taller which I suppose jives considering my slightly taller lift and fresh springs. We're heading to hollister today to check out both installs.
