right now it's just tacked in place, getting it full welded on wednesday, also adding plate steel on top of the two parallel bars, front and back, for CB, Sat, etc.
Each entry side will have another bent tube welded on, as a handle.
Racing seats and 5 point harness will go in on thur or fri.
After I get 1" body lift, we'll weld the cage to the frame

Kick ass cage!
One question though. I know you mentioned keeping the hard top crossbar mounts but did you look into remove/replace the down tubes it bolts too(think its tied into the door jamb)? Reason I ask is that you put another down tube right behind the front seats pretty much in the rear door opening.
Did you do this as you went along or do you have a schetches/drawings/blue prints.\? I am planning on a half cab and eliminating the rear cage all together. Thanks in advance for the ideas.

If black is good enough for you, go to Lowes and get some PVC pipe insulation. Way cheaper than the Summit stuff. Comes in like 8' lengths. You can fasten it on with black zip ties. Comes in most popular diameters. By the way, I've been welding longer than a lot of you are old and still get certified every year even though I don't do very much anymore. I gotta say, it's a damn good lookin job.
