Default Brink Fab Cage Built-Up on 4 Door JK

Here's some pictures of my cage getting built up
The center bar from the stock cage had to be kept in place so the hard top can be put in place.

my buddies drive way, Brink Fab, he also built his TJ in the driveway
I added some pictures of his too 03TJ D60's all custom
The neighbours love it! It's by the beach too so people just walk by and admire all the toys

I'll have more pictures up tonight, I stoped taking pictures last nights, got too excided with the cage, forgot to take pics (I'm going tonight, it's 100miles away from my place)

The 4 tube you see in the pictures don't go to the frame, YET. and there more bolt in point to the chasie, we'll just sandwitch it for now and then (after I decide if I'll go with a body lift) we'll hook it up to the frame, that's the easy part.

For the windshield we went in front of the dash rigth by the air vents, and also on top of the dash.

The stock JK cage will not take a serious roll over, take you top off and look at it! underneath that thick padding... theres some tube BOLTED to other tubes... and the design it's just weak, I want to be on the safe side
After 2 of my buddies rolled over 80 ft down the ditch on my b-day off-road trip... I decided it's time to upgrade.

Well you should be familiar with the traffic in sylvan lake, with all the done up cars and choppers that cruise around, THIS time of year

PS: Beer Caps hahahaah, I was a sunny day

Oh I have to see pics of that.....

How does that work come safety time? I am pretty sure you arent worried about voiding the warranty.....but in my case where i could be posted anywhere in Canada at any time, I have to think about the safeties I go through.
I have another military guy here who wants to do something like that but make a spare tire holder over the back...but has the same concerns as me. Is there some sort of regulatory body that can check things out and ensure that it meets some sort of guidline?

Looks good though....

stock cages are basically for looks... hard pressed to call them a roll cage...
safties shouldn't be an issue, actually making the vehicle safer... if the cage is done properly. no different then a 1/4 mile street car that has a cage in it.

hope to see more more pics of the JK... very curious as to how you have done the windsheild and dash work

thanks

sweet TJ btw, well before the roll... LOL, where you able to get 'er going again? and i take it noone was hurt?
