Ok, Im ready to catch a little hell for this but I am curious. I really want my jeep level (2 door) but dont want it lifted. I dont do major wheeling, just weekend stuff and nothing crazy. How would you go about dropping the rear about an inch or so and LOWERING it?

You would need new smaller coils in the rear i'm pretty sure. Why don't you just get a 1/2" spacer or so for the front?

You can lower it with springs or carry sandbags around in the back.

Or you could get 1 inch or 1/2 inch spacers for the front and actually lift it slightly.

Im not trying to be a smart ass, but why would you rather lower the rear than lift the front 1/2 inch or so? Doesnt really make any sense to me

like the boys said, get a leveling kit and raise the front a bit. don't lower the rear. if lowering is a real option for you, maybe trade the jeep in for a ricer. not trying to be a smart ass at all. just saying.

I've nothing to add that was no suggested excpet maybe a limit strap but I could think of a smartass comment...

bedline the rear with about 3 inches of concreate
you'll lose a little storage space but it should bring it closer to level

Find a friends trailer and hitch it up to the jk. Now load another jk in the back and drive about 2 weeks with it that way. You will condense the springs making you level.

If you don't have a hitch go to walmart and look for two of those huge ladies that always ride the electric cart. Have them sit in the back everywhere you go for a couple weeks and really hit those speed bumps.

If you want stock components look for some front rubi coils. Lift the jeep swap the coils you will be level.
