Default Brembo big brake kit.

So i was driving the other day and went over some railroad tracks and felt a vibration afterwards, no biggie i went home and
retorqued my wheels. no improvement. Found the jeep wandering to the left a bit when driving and when braking she started to dive hard right.
I suspected a pinched left front brake line or a seized caliper. I found the left front wheel very warm and the right wheel cool to the
touch. inspection of the brake line revealed no pinch so it has to be a seized caliper.

Advance auto parts sells a replacement caliper for $65.00, rotors $80 x 2 = $160, total = $225.

Our brakes suck to begin with, after you add bigger wheels/tires it dosent stop any better.

I found the Teraflex kit for $700 + master cylinder upgrade $200 = $900.

I also found out that BREMBO now makes a big brake kit for our JK's but its $$$$$ @ $3900

The Brembos are 365mm(14.3 inches) compared to the Teraflex 13.3 inches.

As much as i love Brembos(have them on my E30 M3) I think they are a bit overkill on a Jeep, I'm going with the Teraflex BBK.

Love Brembos, but drilled rotors not very good on a Jeep since the holes get plugged with dirt and wear the pads prematurely. Slotted on the TF kit are better, flat may be best. I have the TF kit with their Master cylinder and really like the increased holding power. Highly recommend.
