Nope! It was extremely simple. You loosen one bolt on the clamp where the muffler slides into the 2 1/2" exhaust pipe (just behind the rear axle), spray a little WD40 on the rubber hanging mounts (there's 2), then slide them off the metal hangers, then put on the new muffler using the same rubber hangers. Everything lined up perfectly. There's 2 bolts to tighten on the new one because there's 2 clamps (one more for the new tip). It actually took under 10 minutes.

As far as performance, it made a very noticeable difference at low rpm's...in 1st or 2nd...up to around 40mph or so....

I noticed a difference throughout the entire powerband, but it was just much more evident in that range...
