I have the Borla cat back (single) exhaust. It has a meaner growl than the stock muffler and sounds good, but it will never sound like a good V-8 like my Camaro with a Flowmaster. With the top down, I can hear the growl of the Borla a little more.

For sure a better sound than the stock exhaust. It sounds best if you get a cold air intake with it. It will highten up the sound.

I have the Borla Dual Cat Back Exhaust and a CAI and I love how it sounds. It by no means, has a V8 sound but it does have a nice low rumble.

I went with a Borla axle back and couldn't be happier! I asked Borla directly which style would be better in preserving bottom end torque, the single or double exit. Borla says the single outlet muffler will give better bottom end torque than a double exit. I went with the single exit, still has that great sound too. Remember JKs not only need better sound and performance but they also seem shy on bottom end torque so in my opinion that is the route to go even if it doesn't look as fast!
