Default Body lift question? Ideas, help, etc

I am running a 2.5 skyjacker lift right now with 35's
I wanna bump up to a 4" TF lift or a long arm kit but don't have the $$$ in the bank right now and heard I could install a Body Lift to get the body clearance I'm looming for. I can fully flex just fine now and I'm most likely gonna put some 37 mud grapplers on right after the BL (if it will work)
Can anyone help me out with this?
Wanna know if I can add a body lift on top of a 2.5" suspension lift?

What extra parts I might need?
And if you have pics of a BL mixed with a suspension lift I'd love to see them

Here is a pic of my JK with my 2.5" lift and 35's

sure can. I have the TF BB and will be adding the rough country 1.25 BL, it has the brackets to pull up the rear bumper. That and flat flares and u should be good for 37s

It will work I just hope you don't mind the spacing. The body looks funny when there is space between the bumper and the body. If you have aftermarket bumpers to make it look better then go for it. I personally don't like the look of a body lift.

I'm not a big fan of the look of a BL but I need the clearance, I have after market bumpers and will be bumping from 35 to 37 around the same time I'd do the BL do that should fill the ugly gap

Default yup

It will work. the raised body look depends on the height and the bumpers installed. I run the stock rear bumper on the 1.25" body lift by rough country and it comes with rear bumper relocation brackets. Anyone that sees my Jeep has no idea I have a body lift. I have warming up on 4" of lift without needing drive shafts, control arms, etc I dont have as much ground clearance as a true 4" suspension lift but I do have room for tire stuff. For me a body lift is great. I also have a S*ittybuiltsrc stinger and think it looks fine with my bl.

I have the RC body lift. It is very easy to install and you can hardly see that a body lift has been installed. You will need to order the RC604 which includes the manual shift adapter if you have a six speed. I will get some pic of the fender wells so you can see the gap. Take a look at the pic's. Let me know if you can't see them.

Here's my $0.02 worth. I am running a 3.5 Rubicon Express lift with the 1.25 Rough Country body lift. I did get the shift link adapter as I have a 6-speed. I am running 37" MTRs with "no" trouble. I have flat flares, so you may want to make yours flat. In addition, I had to do the spacer/washer mod to my bump stops to prevent tire rub on the frame at full turn with the suspensions compressed, etc. Planman has a great write up on this and much more related to what you want. In addition, I value my body lift. The amount of crud I was able to clear out that was trapped between my frame and body was incredible. Hope this helps. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions I can help you with.

Good Luck.

Rough Country 3.5 series II lift kit and 35x12.5 R17 tires. The rough country kit was very easy to install and took about 8 hours in the driveway. The kit comes with everything you need including drop pitman arm, front lower control arms, and all the other hardware required to install the kit. I think ride quality is better then stock, not to rough.
