Body armor 4x4 rockcrawler side guards?
Does anybody know if these are any good? I'm not doing any insane rock crawling and mainly need them for steps...with the added protection. Im also hoping to use them as jacking points too. They're at quadratec part #12053.413. Thanks!

They don't seem to mount to the frame??? seem pricey for not being frame mounted/body mounted with rivets. I'm sure they'd hold up but if you aren't doing rock crawling I'd go ace for the price....I personally have EVO's but I wanted frame mounted and truthfully they make it harder to get in than just stock.

I went with the Body Armour extreme rock sliders. Similar apart from side body coverage. Not the easiest install but happy with the results and I think good value for money.

I have them and they are very stout. They bolt through the pinch seam and use the 3 under body mounting points. They used to be frame mounted but the manufacturer changed to a body mount for what seems like a valid reason...when they were frame mounted and the jeep would flex on the trails during articulation or whatever, the body would flex independently of the frame and the frame mounted rail mount would contact the pinch seam and bend it. This caused them to redesign the mounting point to the body. I've seen both and the each have a good reason for doing it a particular way. I can jack the jeep from mine. Of course its not overly beneficial when jacking from the body except to maybe clear an obstacle since you leave the tires on the ground until the shocks are stretched all the way, but for whatever reason they are stout enough.
