The 2.5 gallon tank is just a little too wide, and really makes the ports useless on the sides. You have the overflow for the radiator that gets close. The air box doesn't get in the way really, since it is higher than the tank would be mounted.

VIAIR came out recently with a 2on2 system that is 2 compressors on top os a 2 gallon tank mounted in between the radiator and engine.
Let us know if we can be of help at all.

I'll be using a River Raider skid plate to mount the 2.5 gal tank under the jeep. It also relocates and protects the evap canister. The skid is here but my jeepswag kit with tank hasn't arrived yet. Hope to install this weekend or next.

How do you drain the condensation in the tank when it's mounted on the skid plate like that.

It fits right in the 07-11 JK's, and doesn't interfere with anything.

While I might not have an ARB setup, I do have a compressor and a tank. I cut out a little of the storage panel to allow the head of the compressor to stick out. Figured my stock floor jack is useless anyway (and I have a Hi-Lift), so I utilized that space...

Replaced my Warn SPI with the dual ARB. 2 Gallon tank. Faster, quieter, higher peak pressure and takes up less space.

Got the ARB CKMTP12 portable compressor.

It's the same twin-head ARB compressor as in the post above,
but packed together with a 4 liter tank and all needed accessories
in a tough portable case.

150psi and good flow. Inflates fast and good for pneumatic tools.

Eliminates the mounting question...

I'm going to install a socket at the trunk, leading directly to the battery
(thick wires), so the compressor will be used from where it is at the rear,
no need to open the hood.
