Stuff happens, can't blame Chrysler for this one.

Sure a supercharger and 37's would help it fail, they are not the strongest trannys to begin with. So what, it costs money to play. Adding performance (and with it, fun!) comes with a price, thats for sure.

All you can do it replace the tranny, I would add a cooler.

It takes lots of money to play when one chooses automobiles as the toy.

Attachment 235857 this stuff cant hurt a jeep transmission right ? must be prior owners fault or chrysler making cheap tranny ! quote : ( i really wasnt abusing it i was very easy on it.)

Isn't this the same gearbox that Chrysler used with the 3.3L version of the V6 in minivans? I know 2 people who used to drive the minivan; both had to rebuild their tranny.

to touch on this and your other post, lets clear things up.

When you bought the JK from RIPP they told you to NOT have OD on in the city or did they tell you this after your transmission blew?

dude, if it was their 'show jeep' or 'demo jeep' that means they drove the crap out of it, burn outs and hammering it from a dead stop... I'm not surprised!

Spend the money and get a good aftermarket tranny, then use it like normal.
Lol. Agree... This Jeep has been through hell

hell is a strong statement i dont think it has the originial owner never went off roading and the little bit that i did want that bad. i think big wheels and a supercharger for all the miles put alittle strain on it either way new one is getting installed and i will have it back in a couple of days ...now if it happens again 2012 here i come!
