Plasti-dip it. That's what I did with my red JK about a month ago. Bought 2 cans of it at Home Depot for $5.98 a piece. pull your grill off, clean it, and plasti-dip away. Looks great! Ill post pictures when I'm not at work

Why do it?? Really? Why do anything to your jk for that matter?
You do realize this forum is about modding out your love right?
Why I blacked out my grille? Cause it looks freaking awesome!!!
And my son saw it with the grille off and though I looked cool, not realizing the grille was off to begin with.. So next day I painted that sh!t... 4 coats of black hammer paint and an over kill of TWO cans for flat black... Love it

Used duplicolor bedliner rattle can. Scuff with scotch brite pad clean then Paint away... Easy and after two years looks just as good as when I did it. Easily my favorite mod. Makes cleaning the bugs off easy just use the window cleaning thingy at the gas station!

I did mine with this rattle can bedliner from home depot.
Took 2 cans and cost less than $20 total. I think it looks good and does make cleaning bugs easier than the old white grill...

It was my first mod and it was super easy. Went with the duplicolor and it looks awesome. i also put some gutter guard behind the slots while I had the grill of and bedlined those at the same time. The bugs come off much easier than before, and it looks bad a$$. Check out any of the write ups on here, they are all great.
