Default Bird Cage in Winch Line

Will be trying to get this replaced but has anybody received a new winch with bird caged line? And if it turns out the line is not damaged (no breakage) other then bird caged how hard should I push getting it replaced?

thanks

Recon 10500lb.
researched winchs....etc.... decided I really wanted the synthetic line.. and ended up with the Recon 10500... budget help decide and I felt it would be a good buy... will see.

also I wasn't sure if the bird cage would be introduced soon after the first few uses.. I would have said no....

Truck&Winch.com is where I bought the Recon and once they saw these same pictures they are replacing the line.
I unspoiled part of it and pulled in my Blazer to test the entire winch, Works , and what I call Bird Caging was reduced, I inspected the entire line and other then the bird cage areas which were hard to find the rope looks good. They said they had one other line like this and they want to replace it.....
Good Service! :2thumbsup:

thanks for the replies...

PS first time using a winch... even though it was an easy pull..
