I'm hoping for a production run issue that they have resolved. Mine are too new to be showing this but winter is here and I guess we will see.

Mine look like hell after only being on the Jeep for a year after a very mild winter. I've read that it's very, very common. Unfortunately, I didn't read about it before I put them on.

Cut your boots off and throw them away. They just collect crap that will damage the seals.

I had bilstiens on my last truck and they looked like yours after a couple months, so I switched to fox 2.0 with resis and they were effed after one winter. It's just crap clear on them from manufacturer. I learned to just mask the shocks off and spray some more clear on them before installation and your prob gone be fine. I do find it odd that yours were corroded without being on a vehicle. To bad you had to take care of them yourself rather than bilstien rectify the default.
