I just got some Bilstein 5100 shocks for a 2.5 inch lift for a great deal from another forum member. I plan to get a TF lift a little later when I go to 35s, but for now I'm still running the leveling kit and stock Rubicon JKU shocks (tow package).

Do I hold them until I put on the lift, or is the 2 inch front and 1 inch rear puck boost okay to combine with these?

The shock selector tool at 4WP says 24-146708 for 2 or 2.5 in the front and 24-146715 for 2 inches in the rear. There is no 1 inch option for the back side.
The rear I have is F4-BE5-E670-H0 and I think that is the 708 equiv for the rears according to another site.

You should be ok with that set up but I would check a couple of things after installing them. The shock bodies are most likely longer so you will have to check your shock compression under full stuff to make sure that you do not need to add bumpstop to keep the shock from full compression. Zip ties on the shock rod come in handy when inspecting shock compression so that you can see how much they are actually compressing.

In short you should be good to go but you should check these things to be sure as every rigs lift height varies a little.

Thanks for the tip. I found another post that said these rear at 1.5-3 inches, so I might be fine on the back side too.
"BE5-E670-HO (new part #24-146708) which are rated for a 1.5-3"

No problem. When I was running a 2.5 Teraflex coil lift and the long Bilstien 5100's with 2 inch rear bumpstops I only had about an inch tops of travel left before they bottomed out. Another issues I had with that set up was popping the front coils out under extreme droop. Like I said I think you will be fine but its always good to flex it out to see how everything is cycling.

That was my other concern...pooping a spring loose. I'll cycle them after install. I know shocks are not a good idea as limiters, so either leaving in factory shocks or these, its isn't optimal.
Now I have the excuse to get that lift
