Anyone have a bike rack that mounts to a 34" or 35" spare?

We use the Thule 963 SpareMe rack. We did have to weld a 2" extensin on it but it works great.

I wouldnt put anything on a spare tire that big. Why dont you get a rack that goes on to your hitch? Thats the bike rack I have. I have 33" tires.

I can open my rear gate fine, the rack has a handle that you pull and then pull the rack back.

I don't like extra steps just to open the tailgate especially if it is raining out.

I have the Allen spare tire rack and love it! It mounts and can be removed in less than 5 min. The only thing I recommend is some pipe foam for the bottom part that rests on your spare. Home Depot...$2.
