Just like the title says. Whats the biggest low profile Tire/Wheel combo in black thats on the market? I want that look of the tire/wheel combo on the armored vehicle from the Aliens movie. I want to stay with basically the stock diameter, maybe a inch larger. So yeah, what I've personally come up with is the Nitto Mud Grappler in 33x12.50R20LT so far. Yet to fiind a decent wheel 20 inch wheel though.

I saw some 315/55/20's on a pickup truck at work the other day... that comes out to about 33.6x12.4x20. They make 35's, 37's, 38's 40's, +++ for 20's though so it really depends on your lift....

People might hate if you are running 30's or smaller on 20's on a jk... but I doubt many would hate if you were rocking 38x13.5x20

I don't think tall rims belong on jeeps if you go wheeling at all , it lessens side wall flex and if you air down at all , you will screw up the rims. Also you may look at the cost diff. between the same diameter tire in say a 15 inch rim size vs. 17 , or 18 inch rim size . I think you will see about a 50 dollar diff. between a 17 inch , and a 18 inch rim size in the same size tire.

Tires for 20" wheels and 17" wheels are going to be easier to find and cheaper than 18" tires.

I don't four wheel anymore. Those days are over. I had several Ford trucks with 460's and huge meats. I spent buttloads of money fixing and upgrading broken axles, trannies, transfer cases and motors. No more. My Rubicon might see a couple feet of snow every year if its lucky. I just want some sick looking wheels and tires thats all. I guess Toyo makes a mud terrain for a 22 diameter wheel.

You'll want a 4.5" backspacing(BS) around about. When you get into a 20" rim the BS availability gets narrow. MB wheels has the TKO MTB20" with a 5" BS. Put on a BBoost and get a 33" Goodyear KM2 or the BFG MT in a radial as a package from discount direct. I personally think you'll get the look with 18" rims and a 33" tire and for way cheaper. 17" and 18" tires & rims are 20% cheaper than 20" rims and tires. You'll have too low a side wall unless going with a 35" tire or larger. BB is around $150 and the 33" tires and rims might be $2300 for five. If you go 20", it will be around $3200 for five rims and tires. You'll save around $1000 going with the 18" over the 20" and it will look better unless like one poster said unless you go with a 35" or larger then 20" will look ok. A 315 is a 35" tire and a 325/60 is almost 36" tall or 35.6" exactly when new.

Sounds like you want something more like 33's or 35's on 20's or 22's. Just so you know, tires and wheels take a big jump when you move from 20's to 22's. I found that out when pricing wheels for my Ram. That's why I wound up with 37's on 20's.
