Bigger tire on ruby wheels

Yeah, 35's are gonna look great with that lift as well. I have the same and I couldn't afford 35's so I got 33's. Looks okay but needs a little more to fill the gap. I personally like it to be equal. Too big and you don't have the room on full stuff with stock fenders, too small and you look like a roller skate. check my pics and you can see the 2.5 with 33's. This will give you an idea of what I mean. Just my opinion though. I am a firm believer in your rig looking the way you want it. No one else is writing that payment check.

another ditto here to the 2.5 inch lift, 1.5 inch wheel spacers, rubi wheel, and 35's (mine are mtr/K's)
Love this setup. any more size to tires and i would have to do some more mods to clear them and I think it would look odd without more of a lift.

erol1991,
You didn't say if your Jeep was a two door or a four door. 35s work great for a two door, they are about the right size to get good off road performance without totally killing on road performance. I noticed a drop in on road performance with the 35s and 5.38 gears, but not too terrible. It made me real glad I had not gone with 37s though, because the Jeep is doing a barely adequate job of getting the 35s rolling.
The four door probably needs 37s to work as well off road as a two door with 35s. But the four door is already 800 lbs heavier than the two door, and already feels alot more sluggish. Put 37s on a four door, compared to 35s on a two door, and even with the lowest gears you can get, there is going to be a big difference in driveability. Given all the plusses and minuses I think I'd still have gone with 35s if I had the four door.
Using the stock wheels with spacers is a good idea as well. No sense in spending your money on decorative items like aftermarket wheels, when you can spend that money on items that make a real difference, like 5.38 gears, etc.

Hi guys. Question, my stock JK's are 17x7.5 and I want to go to 33x12.50x17 or 35's. How do the 7.5 wide rims ride with the 12.50 tires? Are they too narrow? Does it affect the tire wear at all? I like the stock rims and would like to keep them.
I'll be offroading more on sand than rock. I need a lot of tire footprint.
Thanks
