It is mostly mud down here in Alabama but there are several rock crawling/trail running parks around

Then if your plan is to wheel the shit out of it, I would get a PR44, IMO. Light trails and such you can get away with beefing the D30. I have 37s on a gusseted d30 and I wheel mine pretty hard, nothing is bent or broken but that's not say it will never happen because it will. I've got a 3.5 lift and I still have plenty of room. Or, maybe you should just buy a monster truck lol
