Post BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM2's or Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's both 35x12.5xR17, which is best

Dear all,

Any thoughts which of the two tires is best? I want 35's with good road as well as off road performance.

BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM2's35x12.5xR17

Or

Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's both 35x12.5xR17, which is best

My alloys will be AEV pintlers

And for our Chinese friends ! Happy new year and may the year of the dragon give you prosperity !

You can't go wrong either way. Finding MT/R Kevlars is going to be difficult though... at least it was for me over the last month.

BFG km2s...nice ride, not terribly loud, great performance on/off road. keep pressure right
they will last a good while. I run 35 lbs on mine.

In run 35" KM2's and think they are a great tire. They perform great on all terrains and extremely well on rocks...

I run the MTR/k's and I'm really surprised by how quite they are and how well they track down the road. I will say they did take a good bit of effort to balance on the stock wheels. I'm running 28 psi to make the chalk test look good.

This thread was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted the Goodyears but since they are on national back order until at leat the end of next month I was looking at the KM2's. Hopefully I can find those because I'm gonna need some new shoes to put on the wheels I just ordered. Thanks to the OP for starting this.
